Once upon a time, a powerful wizard pretended to cast a spell on his apprentice.....
"Protego!"
Nothing happened.... because he pretended to cast a spell, not really cast one......

His apprentice didn't know what was the spell for (that's why he's the apprentice)
"What's that?"
"Its a rebounding spell for protecting against other spells," his wise master replied.
"oh" the apprentice acknowledged before bouncing away as if he was hit by the spell.
"Not YOU, dumbo, the SPELL!"
haha, so amusing. Always brings a smile when I am reminded of the incident....
